Description

You will design data models and visualizations to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dashboards and KPIs using Tableau and Power BI.
• Connect BI tools to diverse data sources including databases, Excel files, and web services.
• Design ETL packages and manage data transfers between different systems.
• Write, optimize SQL queries, and create stored procedures.
• Automate manual processes and reporting through technical expertise.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics.
• 5+ years of experience developing Tableau and Power BI dashboards.
• Expertise in SQL and relational database management systems.
• Strong data modeling skills.
• Proficiency with SSIS and SSRS.
• Advanced Excel skills, including macros and complex formulas.
• Experience working with complex datasets and statistical formulas.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Proof of eligibility to work in New York State.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with researchers and business users to gather requirements.
• Ability to develop documentation including data dictionaries, policies, and procedures.
