You will translate business hypotheses into logical data models and actionable insights using corporate datasets.

Responsibilities

• Translate English language questions into logical data models and business logic using available data and dictionaries.
• Create materialized views from Oracle databases by joining tables and applying hypothesis-driven logic.
• Perform quality control on data outputs to ensure record counts and calculated values are reasonable and accurate.
• Execute methodical analytical experiments that produce reproducible research.
• Apply clustering and feature importance analysis to mine data for credible insights.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience executing data analysis within a corporate environment or for corporate clients.
• Strong SQL development experience specifically with Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in Python for executing clustering and feature importance analysis.
• Experience modeling data in Tableau.
• Ability to infer data definitions through critical thinking and pattern recognition.
• Experience with data describing people-related events, such as HR/Workday or Talent Acquisition/Taleo.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Economics.
