Description

You will own the end-to-end data collection, cleansing, and analysis processes for cloud migration assessments and discovery projects.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and troubleshoot discovery tools to validate pre-requisites and create application stacks or dependency charts.
• Design and build new data set processes for modeling, data mining, and statistical analysis.
• Consolidate infrastructure and application data from CMDB, assessment tools, and workshops to create final reports.
• Analyze assessment data to provide remediation plans and recommend cloud service models.
• Support the discovery process by interpreting results and building reports or dashboards to solve business questions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and discovery tool implementation.
• Hands-on experience with discovery tools such as Azure Migrate, Cloudamize, or similar.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with CMDB and analyzing data from various technical sources.
• Understanding of Windows/Linux servers, networking, storage, and compute services.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and incident management.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment models and terminology including hostnames and middleware.

Preferred Skills

• Public cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
