Description

You will design and analyze healthcare data models, ensuring alignment with IBM UDMH standards and major EHR systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models using IBM UDMH standards.
• Perform data profiling and validation across Epic, Cerner, Athena, and Oracle FDI systems.
• Analyze data granularity, quality, volume, and frequency to support integration efforts.
• Partner with teams to gather requirements and define subject-area data models.
• Document metadata and support governance and audit processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst in the healthcare domain.
• Strong knowledge of IBM UDMH and EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena).
• Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or PowerDesigner.
• Advanced SQL, Python, and Unix skills for ETL scripting and profiling.
• Proven experience in data modeling, profiling, and metadata documentation.
• Required experience with Snowflake, Hadoop, or Spark.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud ecosystems.
• Experience in healthcare data integration and data governance frameworks.
