Description

You will own data quality and reporting for the Iowa Behavioral Health Reporting System (IBHRS), covering substance use, problem gambling, and mental health data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends and metrics to identify outliers and provide actionable recommendations.
• Ensure data integrity by working with providers to clean and correct reported information.
• Develop, maintain, and streamline SSRS reports and executive dashboards for stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical staff to explain findings and trace data lineage.
• Perform technical testing of the IBHRS system and assist with ad hoc data requests.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Microsoft Report Builder.
• 3+ years of experience with data analytics software such as Power BI or Tableau.
• 3+ years of experience writing relational database queries, including subqueries, versioning, and temp tables.
• 3+ years of experience performing data analysis and managing data quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data visualization and analysis.
• Ability to use SQL to create complex ad hoc queries.
• Experience working with relational databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
