Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analyst with 8+ years of expertise in the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of commercial and consumer lending systems, deep expertise in capital markets, derivatives, risk management, and mortgage products, along with proven hands-on skills in ETL, data warehousing, and SQL-based analysis. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, financial data interpretation, and experience working with defect tracking and quality management tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform financial data analysis, including end-to-end data mapping, data validation, and backend verification.
Analyze and support processes across commercial lending (Loan IQ) and consumer lending systems.
Work on mortgage loan servicing, Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), derivatives, bonds, equities, FX, fixed income, and capital markets.
Provide analytical support for wealth management, portfolio analysis, risk management (credit & market risk), and asset management.
Conduct financial forecasting, project auditing, stock valuation, and capital management analysis.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure data consistency and quality assurance across systems.
Utilize defect tracking and QA tools (Bugzilla, JIRA, Mantis, HP ALM, Quality Center, Rational ClearQuest) for defect management and resolution.
Write and execute SQL queries (Toad or similar tools) to ensure backend data consistency, data security, and process optimization.
Work with ETL and Data Warehousing environments for data integration and reporting.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, EMIR, and BASEL.

Mandatory Skills:
Domain Expertise: Commercial Lending (Loan IQ), Consumer Lending, Mortgage Loan Servicing, MBS, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, Bonds, Hedge Funds, Risk Management.
Financial Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of annuities (fixed, indexed, variable), stocks, options, and derivatives trading operations.
Technical Skills: SQL (Toad or equivalent), ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Mapping, and Backend Analysis.
Tools: Bugzilla, JIRA, Mantis, HP ALM, Quality Center, Rational ClearQuest.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: SOX, EMIR, BASEL frameworks
