Analyze complex financial data across commercial and consumer lending, capital markets, and mortgage products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end data mapping, validation, and backend verification for banking systems.
• Support commercial lending (Loan IQ), consumer lending, and mortgage loan servicing processes.
• Analyze capital markets data including derivatives, bonds, equities, FX, and fixed income.
• Write and execute SQL queries to ensure backend data consistency and process optimization.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, and HP ALM.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data analysis within banking and financial services.
• Deep expertise in commercial lending, consumer lending, and mortgage products.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, derivatives, risk management, and wealth management.
• Proficient in SQL (Toad or equivalent) for data extraction and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data warehousing environments.
• Experience with data mapping and backend data verification.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools: Bugzilla, JIRA, Mantis, HP ALM, Quality Center, Rational ClearQuest.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SOX, EMIR, and BASEL.
• Experience with financial forecasting, project auditing, and capital management analysis.
