Description

You will drive capacity planning and cost efficiency through forecasting and resource optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling for forecasting, capacity management, and strategic finance initiatives.
• Present planning recommendations and latest data to leadership.
• Develop models to address consumption challenges and review them with engineering managers.
• Implement forecast adjustments and refine existing planning processes.
• Create data pipelines and datasets to support capacity growth.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data analysis or capacity planning.
• Expertise in time series forecasting for compute resourcing.
• Deep understanding of managed service tech stacks and consumption-based problems.
• Experience with growth modeling and system model optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Apache Spark and querying data in Hive.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong interpersonal skills to challenge and collaborate with managed services managers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau for BI.
