Description

As a Data Analyst, you will own the end-to-end data lifecycle from ingestion to insight delivery, ensuring high integrity and actionable business value.

Responsibilities

• Craft and implement dimensional models for structured and semi-structured datasets to support complex business queries.
• Develop and optimize data processing workflows using PySpark to handle large-scale data transformations.
• Write and tune advanced SQL queries within AWS Athena to extract precise insights from distributed data lakes.
• Investigate data anomalies and resolve stakeholder requests while maintaining strict data accuracy and reliability standards.
• Document data models, query logic, and ETL processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and team scalability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with reporting packages, databases, and ETL frameworks.
• 3+ years of dedicated experience in data analysis and database management.
• Proficiency in SQL and SAS or comparable database management systems.
• Hands-on experience using AWS Athena for data manipulation and query optimization.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex pivot tables and macro development.
• Working knowledge of data modeling principles for database design and development.
• Functional understanding of statistical concepts, including linear regression, statistical inference, and probability theory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to articulate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or MIS.
• Equivalent work experience demonstrating the same level of technical proficiency and analytical rigor.
