Description

Implement Financial Data Processing (FDP) for the Japan market by aligning global requirements with local data availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform fit-gap analysis between global requirements and existing Japanese data sources.
• Define data meanings, units, and calculation logic to resolve identified data gaps.
• Develop data methodologies and system interfaces in collaboration with stakeholders and third-party vendors.
• Design and implement required changes for functional processes and IT services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• 5+ years of experience managing and leading data analysis projects with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or SAS.
• Proficiency in cloud-based technology including AWS or Azure.
• Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation.
• Knowledge of system interfaces, data architectural design, XML, and Javascript.
• Strong statistical analysis, data visualization, and analytical skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib/seaborn.
• Knowledge of machine learning, Hadoop, or Spark.
• Experience in the retail or finance sectors.
