Description

You will design and develop systems for the Data Asset Program, including ETL processes and business intelligence solutions. You decompose requirements into Epics and Features, writing concise user stories for technical staff. You assist the Product Owner in maintaining product and Sprint backlogs. You design spatial data workflows, Data Marts, and DW database schemas. You create conceptual prototypes, mock-ups, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes and spatial data workflows.
• Design and support DW database and table schemas for new and existing data sources.
• Decompose requirements into Epics and Features, writing user stories.
• Assist the Product Owner in maintaining product and Sprint backlogs.
• Create conceptual prototypes, mock-ups, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in data-centric roles.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle.
• Deep knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and BI tools including PowerBI, Tableau, and Business Objects.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and ESRI ArcGIS.
• Proficiency with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java, and XML.
• Strong understanding of ODS, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
• Familiarity with Molap and Rolap architectures.
• Working knowledge of database design using Kimball and Inmon architectures.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory v2, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, and Team Foundation Server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM DataStage and Erwin.
• Scripting experience with Windows, Linux Shell, or Python.
