Description

You will own the analysis, documentation, and quality validation of data requirements for enterprise data platform projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document data and reporting requirements, including cataloging data fields with stakeholders.
• Define source-to-target mappings and transformation logic alongside data engineers and architects.
• Perform data profiling, quality analysis, and validation across multiple source systems.
• Maintain the structured data dictionary, business rules, and metadata documentation.
• Analyze large datasets using SQL to identify trends, anomalies, and insights for root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst supporting data engineering or data platform projects.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience handling large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with data profiling, data quality checks, and data validation.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data transformation tools like dbt or Airflow.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
