Translate business needs into functional and data requirements for development teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders to define and document functional and data requirements.
• Perform data mapping to identify data sources, application origins, and extraction methods.
• Analyze how data is sourced by various applications to determine necessary pull parameters.
• Hand off technical requirements to development teams for data onboarding.
• Use large datasets to define KPIs and assist with process improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in FinTech, specifically within Payments (Swift MT/MX, ACH/NACHA) or Securities.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex select queries, multiple joins (inner, outer), and working with views.
• Proven experience performing data mapping and analyzing data provenance across multiple sources.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Epics, Stories, and Scrum/Sprint cycles.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Python programming experience.
• Knowledge of Financial Crimes Compliance, including AML, sanctions, fraud, or Alert Investigations.
• Exposure to Actimize or similar AML products.
