Description

Analyze, validate, and reconcile large datasets from front office, back office, and risk systems in a capital markets environment. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from multiple sources.
• Use Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting.
• Develop advanced Excel models and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Document data flows, business rules, and reporting logic.

Required Skills

• 5–6 years of experience as a Data Analyst within financial services.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data manipulation.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and formulas.
• Understanding of global markets trade data across front office, back office, or risk functions.
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Alteryx.
• Background working within a large bank or capital markets environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting and compliance-related datasets.
