Description

You will own sales and labor forecasting to optimize restaurant operations and control costs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from POS systems, historical sales records, and labor reports to identify trends and anomalies.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to develop accurate sales forecasts and labor staffing models.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and platforms to generate customer insights.
• Use modeling and analytics to evaluate the impact of business decisions on the bottom line.
• Implement data governance and security measures to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, and Auto ML.
• Ability to work with data engineering and data science workflows.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Physics, or other science disciplines.
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
