Description

You will own the requirements lifecycle for data projects, bridging stakeholder needs with technical execution in SQL, Power BI, and QlikView environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document detailed requirements for ETL processes and visualization tools.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical specifications for SQL databases and data lake architectures.
• Create data mappings to ensure seamless integration between applications and services.
• Document data ingestion and processing requirements for data warehouse and lake environments.
• Support data applications through rigorous business analysis and requirement management.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data-focused roles.
• Minimum 3 years of current experience in the reinsurance industry.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with data visualization tools including Power BI and QlikView.
• Knowledge of data lake technologies and big data platforms (Hadoop, Azure Data Lake).
• Strong experience with ETL processes and data mapping.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven background in business analysis specifically for data projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with large-scale big data platforms.
