Data Analyst/Sr ETL

You will design and develop systems for the Data Asset Program, ETL processes, and business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

• Decompose requirements into Epics and Features and write concise user stories for technical staff.
• Assist the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog and managing Sprint backlogs.
• Design and develop ETL processes, spatial data workflows, and Data Marts.
• Design and support DW database and table schemas for new and existing data sources.
• Create conceptual prototypes, mock-ups, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in data-centric roles.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle.
• Deep knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools including PowerBI, Tableau, and Business Objects.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and ESRI ArcGIS.
• Proficiency with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java, and XML.
• Strong understanding of ODS, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
• Familiarity with Molap and Rolap architectures.
• Working knowledge of database design and modeling using Kimball and Inmon architectures.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory v2, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, and Team Foundation Server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM DataStage and Erwin.
• Scripting experience with Windows, Linux Shell, or Python.
