Description

You will lead the execution of internal audits focused on data analytics and artificial intelligence systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of auditors and data specialists in planning and delivering risk-based audits centered on automation, data analytics, and AI.
• Oversee audits of AI systems, data pipelines, and digital platforms to assess model fairness, transparency, bias, and compliance.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of data governance, model risk management frameworks, and automated controls.
• Advise executive leadership on risks associated with AI adoption, algorithmic decision-making, and emerging technologies.
• Integrate data analytics and AI audit methodologies into the broader audit framework and planning processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in internal/external audit or risk assurance, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Significant experience auditing or managing risks in machine learning, data analytics, or AI environments.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, R, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Strong background in IT risk, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Experience performing risk assessments and managing stakeholder engagement across technology and business units.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP).
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks like ISO/IEC 42001 or NIST AI Risk Framework.
• Training in AI ethics or model risk management.
