Description

You will design, implement, and maintain analytics solutions, data extractions, and processing workflows to support mission-critical reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and document analytics solutions, visualizations, and dashboards to drive business decisions.
• Lead the migration of analytics between platforms, including code conversion and integration testing.
• Manage reporting and analytics standards, including source code control and configuration management.
• Maintain Tableau Server environments, managing updates, patches, and production support.
• Collaborate with users to gather requirements and develop technical specifications for data services.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience writing complex SQL and PL/SQL queries.
• 4+ years of experience working within a University or College environment.
• 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering, solution implementation, and documentation.
• 5+ years of development experience with Tableau Desktop or IBM Cognos.
• 5+ years of experience in Tableau Server management.
• Strong understanding of database, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Proficiency with Python, R, or similar data analysis tools.
• Experience using Atlassian JIRA for requirements management and bug tracking.
• Experience with visual analytics design and text analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Familiarity with UCOP and IRAP policies, procedures, data systems, and IT infrastructure.
• Advanced degree in a related field.
