Description

You will own the development and maintenance of the analytics data layer.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data transformation pipelines using SQL, DBT, and Jinja.
• Develop dimensional data models optimized for BI consumption.
• Maintain analytics codebases including models, macros, tests, and documentation.
• Implement data quality checks and governance-aligned transformations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in analytics-focused data engineering.
• 3+ years of deep hands-on experience with DBT, including advanced models and macros.
• Strong expertise in dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and large-scale query optimization.
• Experience with Amazon Redshift and modern cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with Python and/or Jinja templating.
• Experience aligning data models with governance and access-control requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD and software engineering best practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
