Description

You will lead the establishment of a new Grid Analytics Program to oversee utility grid strategy, data cataloging, and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce Grid Data Governance policies for the Electric Systems Engineering and Technical Services Division.
• Catalog all grid data sources, integrations, systems, and applications to develop enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Create centralized dashboards and scheduled reports to communicate electric utility reliability metrics to operations and executive leadership.
• Manage the implementation of a grid data warehouse and the procurement of new utility data analytic applications.
• Train data analysts and engineers on programming techniques, best practices, and tool utilization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Analysis, or Data Analytics/Visualization.
• 5+ years of experience overseeing a data analytics team.
• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages including R, Python, and SQL.
• 5+ years of experience deciphering KPIs, SLAs, and industry metrics for executive-level reporting.
• Proven ability to present complex technical content to large, non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Data Analytics/Visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and SharePoint.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a utility setting working with electric utility data sets.
• Knowledge of Grid Technology including Asset Management Systems, GIS, AMI, ADMS, and OMS.
• Experience with MS Azure.
