Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance on all deliverables by performing data audits and analysis.
• Serve as intermediate or senior staff specialist providing assistance and direction to economists and quantitative analysts creating analytics and HPC code to run in a Linux environment.
• Build strong relationships with business staff and advocates for the benefits of HPC and Big Data tools to optimize existing analytical efforts.
• Partners with internal business owners, technical team members and senior management to assist and support the design, development and implementation of analytics code to meet mission-critical business objectives and inform executive decision-making.
• Create Splunk dashboards to demonstrate application usage, server status and provide other insights into the health of analytics resources.
• Assist in recommending and implementing software and configuration changes needed to effectively leverage HPC to meet business needs.
• Research, recommends and writes processes and procedures to meet FISMA and CMMI standards
• Recommend process improvements and changes in development, maintenance and standards.
• Assist in recommending and implementing software and configuration changes needed to effectively to meet business needs. Assists where necessary with business process redesign to take advantage of the efficiencies offered by automation.
• Assist in implementing software packages needed to meet FISMA and CMMI standards.

Required Skills

• Expert in building highly performant SQL based solutions delivered using file feeds, Data-as-a-Service APIs, streaming data analytics and BI tools like Tableau.
• Expert in data management and engineering capabilities.
• Understanding of strategic IT vision and designing analytics solutions.
• Good understanding of predictive and prescriptive AI/ML solutions.

Required Experience

• 5+ years as a Data Analytics experience in the wireless and/or telecom space.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with development and delivery of secure, reliable and scalable big data solutions using agile methodologies
• Experience in cloud technologies (like AWS) and data analytics platforms.
• Experience with design & deliver of fully self-service analytics solutions.
• Experience designing fully automated, configuration driven, extensible solutions.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment across different geographies and vendors.
• Experience engaging in programs with multiple stakeholder organizations.
• Experience building and maintaining data catalog with dictionary.
• Experience in converting business scope to insights, KPIs and metrics.
• Experience with establishing Data Governance rules aligning with stakeholders.
• Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M or Airflow.
• Experience identifying, defining and applying data quality improvements.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
