Description

Lead the technical design and implementation of Snowflake data warehouses and distributed systems on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Snowflake DWH architectures to meet business requirements.
• Develop data pipelines and jobs using AWS Lambda, Glue, EMR, Python, and Spark.
• Optimize data processing by tuning queries and designing Sort and Distribution keys.
• Build data visualizations and dashboards using Qlik, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot.
• Lead design review processes and resolve complex technical problems within the data stack.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Cloud Data Platforms, specifically AWS.
• Proven experience with Snowflake design and end-to-end implementations.
• Expertise in AWS services including ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS, and Athena.
• Strong programming background in Java (8+ years) and Java SpringBoot (5+ years).
• Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, and AWS Glue.
• 3+ years of experience working with Docker containers.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Qlik, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot.
• Experience with integration technologies like REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Cloud certification.
• MuleSoft experience.
• Life Science domain experience.
