Description

You will design and implement data models and solutions to support BI applications and the broader enterprise data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Architect data models at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels.
• Develop mappings for data sources, movement, interfaces, and analytics to ensure governance and quality.
• Establish processes for metadata management, data quality tracking, and completeness monitoring.
• Collaborate with business leaders and project teams to analyze requirements for reports, queries, and data extraction.
• Partner with DBAs to monitor database performance, stored procedures, and execution efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
• Proficiency with the Erwin Data Modeling tool for documenting BI models using data flowcharting.
• Experience with SSIS ETL tools and strong understanding of data extraction and transformation processes.
• Hands-on expertise in Tabular cube design.
• Ability to design short-term tactical solutions that align with long-term BI roadmaps.
• Experience defining design standards, ETL coding standards, and reporting procedures with the BI Development Team.
• Maintain change control and testing processes for all modifications to existing data models.
