Description

Design and enforce enterprise data architecture, governance, and modeling standards across cloud and on-premises environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance Operational Data Stores and near real-time Data Warehouses using Kimball and Inmon methodologies.
• Create and maintain Entity Relationship, Logical, Physical, and Conceptual data models for enterprise scalability.
• Lead data modeling sessions with business, IT, and BI stakeholders to assess requirements and deliver design prototypes.
• Build and maintain data catalogs with end-to-end lineage using tools like Alation or Collibra.
• Develop Python scripts for data ingestion, automation, and monitoring, and create complex Power BI dashboards.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture and modeling, preferably in financial services.
• Expert hands-on experience with Erwin for data modeling.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills with MongoDB, Oracle EXADATA, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Experience with Snowflake, including pipeline development, stored procedures, and data sharing.
• Proficiency in Splunk for complex macros and data analysis.
• Experience with event streaming, DDD, Microservices, and Data Mesh architectures.
• Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills for dashboard design and presentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Matillion, SnapLogic, or DBT for cloud/on-premises pipeline building.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as BIAN, IBM Banking Model, or ISO20022.
