Data Architect

You will architect data solutions based on customer requirements and drive technical leadership across projects.

Responsibilities

• Research and learn new technologies and processes quickly.
• Technically lead cross-functional projects and teams.
• Evaluate existing architecture, documenting issues and suggesting improvements.
• Architect solutions that meet defined customer requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with BI/DW implementations in Enterprise Data Management.
• 3+ years of experience in technical or solution architecture.
• 3+ years of consulting experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with offshore teams.
• 2 years minimum experience with modern data architecture (Big Data, Cloud, Open-source Computing, etc.).
• Practical Architecture experience in at least three areas, including experience with at least one programming or scripting language and solid performance optimizations.
• In-depth understanding of various API constructs, including RESTful Interfaces.
• Experience and understanding of major Data Architecture philosophies (Dimensional, ODS, Data Vault, transactional/normalized, etc.).
• Experience with cloud architectures focused on Data Management and building repeatable patterns.
• Experience with major database platforms (e.g. RDS, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift) supporting Lake House and Data Lake medallion reference architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture concepts.
• Understanding of Traditional ETL, ELT, Change Data Capture (CDC), Data Warehousing and Data Marts coupled with data pipeline orchestration.
