You will architect and drive technical solutions for complex data challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership to teams and customers to improve practices and strengthen organizational culture.
• Unify agency and enterprise data capabilities to break down silos, standardizing and migrating structured and unstructured data to a unified data plane.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure data solutions using Databricks, Elastic, AWS, and ServiceNow integrations.
• Align agency data equities across multiple programs to maximize integration throughout the agency.
• Design data pipelines and data flows with a strong hands-on engineering focus.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5-7+ years of hands-on experience architecting, designing, and engineering with Databricks, Elastic, and AWS in a government setting.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Native data and ETL capabilities (S3, Redshift, Glue).
• Relevant Databricks experience related to well-architected Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, and Data & AI Governance.
• Knowledge of streaming data technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, Firehose, or Apache Spark Structured Streaming.
• Prior consulting or customer-facing experience in data architecture or modernization initiatives.
• Experience in Agile environments and managing cross-functional technical delivery.
• Ability to successfully maintain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)/DHS Suitability.
• Experience with Federal Government Contracts.
