Description

You will design and architect data-driven solutions for large-scale applications within the Wealth Management and Billing ecosystem.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable enterprise data architectures and translate complex business requirements into technical designs.
• Lead the development of data pipelines using AWS Glue, Athena, and Snowflake.
• Apply data modeling best practices and caching strategies to optimize system performance and throughput.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to define integration patterns and select technologies.
• Document architectural decisions, data flows, and infrastructure components while ensuring alignment with non-functional requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership.
• Expertise in AWS data services including Glue, Athena, S3, and Lambda.
• Proven experience building high-performance, cloud-native data warehouses with Snowflake.
• Experience designing and implementing end-to-end ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of database design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of caching technologies like Redis or Memcached to optimize latency.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns and trade-offs in distributed data systems.
• Experience addressing non-functional requirements such as scalability, reliability, and availability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices in data environments.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
