Description

Design large-scale data architectures and lead client engagements to define application strategies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale data processing applications and Spark solutions.
• Act as a technical bridge between business leadership, tech leadership, and delivery teams.
• Mentor IT consultants and lead cross-functional teams through the full SDLC.
• Scope client requirements, specify technical solutions, and create architecture documentation.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications and databases.

Required Skills

• 11–16 years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale data processing applications.
• Hands-on expertise with Java, .NET, or Python.
• Proficiency in Spark and managing the full lifecycle of Spark solutions.
• Extensive experience in data modeling and database design for warehousing and BI systems.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of NoSQL technologies such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or HBase.
• Working knowledge of Azure services including Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen 2, Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Azure Synapse.
• Strong understanding of big data analytics platforms and ETL processes.
