Lead the design and development of data architecture for complex analytics applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead data architecture design for medium to complex data analytics applications.
• Design, develop, and discuss data architecture solutions directly with client architects and teams.
• Analyze and assess the impact of requirements on the data lifecycle.
• Drive technology design meetings and propose architectural solutions.
• Define end-to-end data engineering solutions for large-scale projects.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data solutions design and development.
• 2+ years of experience as a Lead Data Architect for medium to large projects.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and Python.
• Expertise in Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Store, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience with Azure API for Data.
• Ability to design end-to-end data engineering pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Snowflake on Azure.
• Data migration to Azure or Big-data solutions using Spark-Scala, Kafka, or HD-Insight.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, DevSecOps, or DataOps methods.
