Description

You will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of data solutions, translating logical designs into physical database implementations for Azure-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual architectures for data governance, administration, integration, and modeling.
• Manage data migration processes, including validation, clean-up, and mapping.
• Translate logical designs into physical database implementations and oversee end-to-end solution delivery.
• Establish policies and goals for data integration and administration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Synapse, and ADF Data Pipelines.
• Experience ingesting data from Azure sources (SQL, Cosmos, ADLS Gen 2.0) and non-Azure sources into Synapse.
• Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and BI techniques.
• Proficiency in data modeling and database design.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL, and Big Data technologies.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for promoting Synapse databases and pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Azure Database Security, including encryption, obfuscation, and role-based access control.
• Background in computer science and database management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing data dictionaries and data governance practices.
