Description

You will design scalable data infrastructure, lead engineering teams, and enforce governance frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize scalable data infrastructure for high availability.
• Lead and mentor data engineers to ensure technical excellence.
• Define and execute the data roadmap with cross-functional teams.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance and cost.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in software or data engineering.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala.
• Backend development with Java, PHP, Node.js, GoLang, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with HLD, LLD, and design patterns (Spring Boot or Google Guice).
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in machine learning infrastructure or MLOps.
• Exposure to real-time data processing and analytics.
• Prior experience in a SaaS or high-growth tech company.
