Description

You will design and implement enterprise data architecture leveraging Snowflake for structured and unstructured data.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable data models, data lakes, and warehouses to support analytics, AI/ML, and reporting.
• Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks including HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR.
• Architect data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowpipe, dbt, Informatica, and Azure Data Factory.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, cost management, and workload management.
• Ensure data integrity, lineage, and traceability aligned with medical device standards like ISO 13485 and GxP.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and optimization.
• Expertise in data modeling (dimensional, normalized, and data vault).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data pipeline orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of medical device data standards (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and streaming platforms (Kafka, Event Hubs).
• Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
