Description

You will design and implement scalable data architectures and integration solutions within a Snowflake environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data applications using Snowflake, preferably on AWS.
• Write, support, and operate efficient, scalable, and extensible data integrations and ingestions.
• Conduct PoCs for new technology exploration, such as using DBT for implementing SCD.
• Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for specific technology domains.
• Collaborate with technology leadership to design technical architectures that meet future analytic goals.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Snowflake, including Snow SQL, performance tuning, compute, storage, and zero copy clone.
• Hands-on experience with DBT.
• Proficiency in Snowflake administration: resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouses, and time travel.
• Experience with data migration to Snowflake cloud data warehouses.
• Knowledge of data formats including JSON, Parquet, and ORC.
• Understanding of enterprise data management: Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Sharing, and Data Applications.
• Experience working with globally distributed and offshore teams.
• Strong oral, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Bachelor's degree with ~4 years of Snowflake and DBT experience, or Master's with ~2 years, or PhD with 0-1 years.
