Description

You will design and manage scalable data infrastructure and lead a team of data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize scalable data infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Lead and mentor data engineers to support technical excellence and career growth.
• Drive the implementation of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Define and execute the data roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software or data engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in Java, PHP, Python, Node.js, GoLang, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and Scala for data processing and analytics.
• Deep understanding of HLD, LLD, and design patterns, preferably using Spring Boot or Google Guice.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure and their data services.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases including Redis, Cassandra, MongoDB, and TiDB.
• Familiarity with DevOps and automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef, Grafana, and ELK.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards like GDPR and SOC2.
