Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee the design of ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and real-time streaming architectures.
• Optimize and modernize data warehouses, lakes, and marts for efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and enforce enterprise-wide data standards for quality, security, and compliance.
• Implement advanced data security protocols to protect sensitive information.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data engineering team.
• Translate business stakeholder needs into actionable technical specifications and data strategies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
• Expertise in data modeling, relational databases, and NoSQL.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure ADLS Gen2.
• Strong command of Advanced SQL and Python, Java, or Scala programming.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline construction.
• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance protocols.
• Experience with storage optimization and data quality management.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
