Description

You will lead the design and implementation of data migration from legacy systems to a new cloud solution.

Responsibilities

• Design databases for recovery, high availability, performance, and maintenance.
• Formulate data conversion requirements, scope, and objectives with business stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed mapping specifications and program, unit test, and system test conversion software.
• Implement data cleansing, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) utilities and verification protocols.
• Drive data quality initiatives and support data governance and Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture or related disciplines.
• Minimum of three years of experience in large-scale data conversion, application development, APIs, or database management.
• Proficiency in SQL for database management and querying.
• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of structured data, including entities, classes, hierarchies, relationships, and metadata.
• Understanding of DBMS physical implementation, including tables, joins, and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience implementing successful data conversion projects.
• Experience supporting highly regulated and sensitive data compliance standards.
• Ability to work with HTML and CSS.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
