Description

Design and govern enterprise data architecture for banking domains, ensuring alignment with Azure and Snowflake services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for Customer, Account, Transaction, Product, Risk, and Compliance domains.
• Define enterprise data architecture standards and modeling best practices aligned with Azure and Snowflake ecosystems.
• Map data elements from source systems to target systems, utilizing tools like ER Studio, FIS Horizon, or IBIS.
• Partner with business, data engineering, and platform teams to enable financial reporting solutions and support the development lifecycle.
• Optimize data models for performance, cost, and extensibility on Azure-based platforms, including ADLS and Azure SQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and design.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools, specifically ER Studio.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Excel, including reverse engineering skills.
• Deep understanding of Azure services (ADLS, Azure SQL) and Snowflake.
• Experience mapping data elements across source and target systems.
• Ability to create clear, well-structured documents and presentations.
• Understanding of banking domain data structures (Customer, Account, Transaction, Product, Risk, Compliance).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FIS Horizon or IBIS platforms.
• Knowledge of Snowflake architecture and optimization.
