Description

You will design and govern the organization's data architecture while driving data strategy across the business.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and synthesise data from internal and external sources to support service improvement and strategy development.
• Define and maintain data models, developing business intelligence architecture alongside Data Engineers.
• Manage data risk concerning privacy, ensuring adherence to national legislation and local practices.
• Design and implement data quality auditing systems and batch cleansing processes.
• Visualise complex data using appropriate tools to communicate actionable insights to diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in data architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience using data visualisation tools including Tableau and Qlik.
• Familiarity with GIS tools such as QGIS.
• Ability to produce or maintain data models and understand industry-recognised modelling patterns.
• Understanding of data governance principles and risk management related to privacy.
• Capability to reverse-engineer data models from live systems.

• Strong logical and creative thinking to resolve issues in data processes and services.
