Description

You will design and enhance the Canonical Data Model (CDM) for enterprise security baselines, defining asset-agnostic entities, attributes, relationships, and metadata standards. This role requires integrating CIS Benchmark structures and optimizing the model for MongoDB through careful document design, nesting, and indexing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed mapping of baseline parameters from Excel, Word, and JSON sources to the CDM.
• Integrate CIS Benchmark structures to create draft and reference baselines.
• Partner with engineers to optimize the model for MongoDB (document design, nesting, indexing).
• Define logical lineage, business definitions, and governance metadata.
• Support transformation rules and data standardization decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Canonical or enterprise data modeling.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity baseline concepts and CIS Benchmarks.
• Expertise in document and semi-structured data modeling (JSON, hierarchical models).
• Proficiency in MongoDB data modeling best practices.
• Experience with metadata management and data governance.
• Ability to map structured data from Excel, Word, and JSON sources.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with security data domains and asset classification frameworks.
