Description

You will design and govern the enterprise data architecture, ensuring scalability and integrity across cloud and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Implement robust data modeling strategies including Kimball, Data Vault, and Lakehouse patterns.
• Design AI data architectures, specifically RAG pipelines, vector search mechanisms, and embeddings.
• Establish data governance and security standards using Microsoft Purview.
• Lead technical consulting engagements and mentor engineering teams on best practices.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for complex ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong command of SQL Server and Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on experience with Data Modeling (Kimball, Data Vault, Lakehouse).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview for data governance and cataloging.
• Experience with AI data patterns, including RAG and Vector Search.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
