Design and oversee data structures for large-scale enterprise applications in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage data warehousing platforms and data pipelines.
• Build and maintain large-scale enterprise applications using big data open-source solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and report progress to stakeholders simultaneously.
• Apply analytical skills to solve complex data architecture problems.
• Ensure data accuracy and attention to detail across all architectural designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, or other cloud providers like Amazon AWS.
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Familiarity with data warehousing tools such as Redshift, Snowflake, or SQL Server.
• Experience with big data technologies including Spark, Kafka, Elastic Search, Solr, Hadoop, or HBase.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, Oracle, Couchbase, or Teradata.
• Experience with Tableau, ThoughtSpot, PowerBI, or Looker.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale enterprise application deployment.
