Description

You will design and implement data structures from ingestion through visualization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and code data structures using Snowflake, dbt, and modern BI tools.
• Implement platform best practices to ensure maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Design and maintain data security access controls.
• Develop SQL, HTML, and Javascript code to optimize the stack or generate visualization views.
• Mentor junior data developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver stakeholder requirements.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of experience in data engineering development and visualization.
• 6-8 years of experience in data warehouse modeling, specifically with Snowflake.
• 6-8 years of SQL experience, preferably Snowflake SQL.
• 2-4 years of experience using dbt.
• 3-5 years of experience with Github and source code control.
• 3-5 years of experience with LookML, Tableau, or modern BI tools.
• 2-3 years of experience with CI/CD tools for the modern data stack.
• 2+ years of Python development.
• Experience with enterprise systems including Oracle, Oracle BI, Workday, Jira, Adaptive, and Anaplan.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with semantic layers.
• HTML and Javascript experience as it relates to Looker.
