Description

You will lead the data architecture practice, defining governance standards, target architecture, and pipeline design for legacy-to-Snowflake integrations.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define data governance standards, best practices, and target architecture aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Design and oversee data pipelines and integrations from legacy systems into Snowflake, ensuring performance optimization and automation.
• Guide API and data pipeline architecture, maintaining hands-on involvement with pipelines during early project phases.
• Collaborate with business owners, enterprise architects, and data mesh teams as both a data producer and consumer.
• Manage data privacy, security, and retention policies while implementing CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture leadership.
• Strong background in data engineering with expertise in pipeline design.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of TOGAF or C4 models and data mesh concepts.
• Ability to implement and manage CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
• Background in financial services or healthcare industries.
