Description

You will design and lead the migration of on-premises data platforms to cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design data synchronization processes between on-premises Oracle databases and Snowflake using Kafka and CDC extraction tools.
• Lead strategic planning and execution of migrating in-house data platforms to the cloud.
• Develop efficient, scalable data models for Snowflake and Databricks to support analytics.
• Architect and implement data pipelines using Airflow and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and mentor on best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and platform integration.
• Proficiency with Oracle, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and CDC tools, such as Debezium connectors.
• Expertise in Airflow for data pipeline orchestration.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Proven experience migrating on-premises data to cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques for cloud data warehouses.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services as they relate to Snowflake and Databricks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with BI tools and technologies for dashboard creation.
• Experience leading large-scale data migration projects.
