You will design and maintain data architecture standards, design patterns, and roadmaps to support business objectives and technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and design patterns to ensure consistency and quality.
• Create data architecture roadmaps that influence engineering and product teams to drive business decisions.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, implementing partitioning, sharding, and indexing to optimize query performance.
• Design the platform for high availability, reliability, and fault tolerance to ensure business continuity.
• Enforce data governance, security, and management practices, including the implementation of data cataloging and metadata management tools.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience in data architecture.
• Extensive experience as a cloud-focused data architect.
• Expertise in Spark, Kafka, RDBMS, NoSQL, and Hadoop.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for building data applications and automating workflows.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, schema design, and dimensional modeling.
• Advanced SQL query optimization skills.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and master data management.
