Description

Design and govern enterprise data architecture on GCP, ensuring compliance, quality, and interoperability across domain-oriented data products.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance frameworks covering classification, quality, lineage, retention, and GxP regulatory compliance.
• Define enterprise data architecture aligned to Data Mesh and Data Fabric patterns, establishing domain-oriented data products with clear ownership and contracts.
• Develop and maintain Canonical Data Models (CDM) and domain-specific data models to ensure consistency and interoperability across the GCP platform.
• Define and enforce architecture standards, principles, and guidelines across the GCP platform and stakeholder organizations.
• Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to ensure architecture patterns are implementable, scalable, and aligned to GCP-native tooling.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience designing Canonical Data Models (CDM).
• Deep understanding of Data Fabric and Data Mesh architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of GxP and regulatory compliance in data governance.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
