Description

You will design and manage database architectures to support high-performance data analytic functions across structured, unstructured, and spatial data sets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable database solutions, defining physical structure, functional capabilities, security, and recovery specifications.
• Analyze client operations and applications to determine data structural requirements and system objectives.
• Develop data flow diagrams, flowcharts, and documentation for installation and access techniques.
• Collaborate with database analysts to build methodologies, report views, queries, analytical cubes, and table replications.
• Perform systems analysis to resolve performance, capacity, and replication issues while maintaining database standards.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience designing data models and architectures for high availability analytics.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience implementing data warehouse, data lake, or data mart solutions from the ground up.
• Proficiency in managing relational, unstructured, and spatial data sets.
• Ability to perform complex systems analysis and resolve database performance issues.
• Strong understanding of database design, backup, and recovery specifications.
