You will design and maintain the data architecture for core banking systems to ensure scalability and alignment with business goals.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logical and physical data models for customer data, transactions, accounts, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead data integration across core banking systems and external platforms for real-time and batch processing.
• Define and implement data strategy, including governance, lifecycle management, and retention policies.
• Oversee data migration initiatives from legacy systems to modern platforms during modernization projects.
• Implement data security measures to ensure compliance with banking standards like PCI-DSS, GDPR, KYC, and AML.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
• 5+ years of experience working with core banking systems such as Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Finacle, or FIS.
• Expertise in DB2 and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud-based data architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in ETL processes and tools like Informatica or Talend.
• Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with API integration and data formats like XML and JSON.
