Description

Design and implement data architecture for core banking implementations, ensuring scalable infrastructure and robust data governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define data strategies and develop data models to support operational and analytical needs.
• Design and integrate multiple co-existing databases within complex environments.
• Manage data migrations for core banking transformations and upgrades.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and security across all core banking platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to build infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
• 5+ years of experience with core banking systems such as Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Finacle, or FIS.
• Expertise in DB2 and PostgreSQL database technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and tools like Informatica or Talend.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong background in banking regulatory and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, GDPR, KYC, AML).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with API integration and data formats such as XML and JSON.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
